Dundee
Dundee has earned the nickname City of Discovery due to both its tradition of scientific activities and the presence of Scott's RRS Discovery, the ship used for his Antarctic exploration. Since the 1980s, Dundee's focus has been on biomedical and technology industries and it is now home to 10% of Britain’s digital entertainment industry. There are no less than two universities to be found here – the University of Dundee and the University of Abertay Dundee.
