Newtownabbey

Newtownabbey is the name of a large urban area with over 60,000 residents spread over a number of small and medium sized towns and villages in Northern Ireland. In the Newtownabbey region you will for instance find the towns of Carnmoney, Glengormley, Jordanstown, Monkstown, Ratchcoole and Whiteabbey. Newtonabbey is home to several industries focused on computer development and engineering and the University of Ulster has its main campus in Jordanstown.
