Nottingham

Closely linked to the legend of Robin Hood who is said to have lived in the nearby Sherwood Forest and combated the unjust Sheriff of Nottingham, Nottingham and the legendary Nottingham Castle is today an extremely popular tourist attraction. The heart of Nottingham is still the Old Market Square, encircled by carefully remodeled shopping streets. Nottingham is also home to a bohemian area known as Hockley which can be found near the redeveloped Lace Market.
