Leicester
Leicester, the traditional county town of Leicestershire, is famous for its well preserved Victorian city centre with the Leicester Market, the Haymarket and the Shires. Leicester market is the largest covered market in Europe and can be found not far from the prominent Leicester Clock Tower. Leicester has also managed to preserve several medieval buildings, including the churches of St Nicholas and St Mary de Castro.
